Pallas’ Cats are one of the oldest living species of cats. They evolved some 10 million years ago.
They may not be good runners, but Pallas’ Cats are experts at ambushing. Once it spots its prey, the cat slowly creeps toward the prey using vegetation as a cover. Its flat forehead and low ears help it peek over bushes and rocks without giving away its position. At just the right moment, it pounces.
