The Zoo’s Burmese Python weighs about 35 pounds and is approximately 10 feet long. Burmese Pythons can grow up to 16-23 feet long and weigh up to 200 pounds. They continue to grow throughout their life. A Burmese Python’s great length is due to the presence of a large number of vertebrae - up to 450.
