ZooMobile

Reservations

ZooMobile programs are available daily for day and evening programs year-round. Please make your reservation at least two weeks in advance. For reservations, contact our Education Department at 605-367-8313, ext. 233. Shared rates for mileage are offered if the initial organization booking the ZooMobile can encourage other facilities within its surrounding communities to schedule a ZooMobile on the same day.

Program Fee

Class (designed for up to 40 people):

First Program: $80
Each Additional (up to 5): $50 (same date/location)

Presentation (designed for groups of 40 or more):

First Program: $160
Each Additional (up to 5): $100 (same date/location)

Community Event/Fairs (for come-and-go audiences):

First Hour: $180
Second Consecutive Hour: $150

Mileage: One-Way Fee

In Sioux Falls City Limits: Free
Outside Sioux Falls City Limits: $1 per mile one-way

*If your organization is exempt from sales tax, in the state of South Dakota, please complete the "Sales Tax Exemption Form" and return to the Great Plains Zoo.

Severe Weather Closing

Due to the possibility of severe weather, cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. If your organization has a closing, please notify Zoo staff as soon as possible at (605) 367-8313 ext. 233. We will reschedule if possible.

Cancellation

Policy Written cancellations must be made at least seven days prior to the scheduled booking. Upon receipt of the cancellation, 50% of the program and mileage fees will still be billed to your organization. NO refunds will be made six days prior to the scheduled date.
