Great plains Zoo Field Trips
2026 Field Trips will be available for booking in February 2026.Schedule your next field trip at the Great Plains Zoo and learn all about the world around you in a living classroom!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are booking multiple visits for the same location that will each be paying on arrival, please book each visit separately.
Field trips are self-guided. Groups typically need about 2 hours to see the entire zoo.
Animal encounters may be added for an additional cost and are based on Education Staff availability. Animal encounters are limited to 40 people, but multiple sessions may be available.
Pricing
- Schools, daycares, and colleges qualify for our field trip rate of $8.50 per person (plus tax) for everyone ages 2 and up, including teachers and chaperones paid for by the school.
- All field trips must be booked in advance and require one payment to qualify for the school rate.
- Regular admission price of $15.50 will apply to any chaperones paying individually.
Memberships are for family visits and cannot be used for Field Trips.
