The Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium (GPZ/BHA) is excited to host Zoofari on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5-9 pm at the zoo campus.

Zoofari is an opportunity for adults (21+) to experience the magic of the natural world as they explore the zoo – with animal encounters, themed food stations and signature cocktails, and activities around practically every corner.

Zoofari guests will have the opportunity to:

Be the first to meet our lions – with an exclusive preview inside the new exhibit
Feed a giraffe
Tour the zoo veterinary clinic
Meet ambassador animals
Feed the farm animals
Interact with aquatic creatures in our traveling Ocean in Motion exhibit
Enter the raffle for one-of-a-kind animal experiences
Get the inside scoop on GPZ/BHA happenings
Engage with zookeepers and educators – and ask every burning animal question

Food and one drink ticket are included with a Zoofari ticket. Vespa Catering (the team behind Maribella and R Wine Bar) has created a special global food and drink menu for the occasion, contributing to an immersive, uniquely delightful evening.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will contribute to GPZ/BHA’s ongoing effort to unite all elements of land, sea, and sky on one campus.

The zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium will both close early on Thursday, June 27 in preparation for the event.

BHA will close at 1 pm, with last admission at 12:30 pm
GPZ will close at 2 pm, with last admission at 1 pm
GPZ will close at 5 pm on June 26, so no Wild Wednesday extended hours that night
